We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude to join our busy Restaurant Team.
As a Team Leader, some of the key duties will include;
- Supporting the Restaurant Management Team in ensuring that the restaurant is ready and pre-service checks are completed.
- Carrying out pre-service briefings to the team, ensuring that the team aware of any menu changes and updates and that uniform and appearance standards are met.
- Be pro-active and interact with guests during each service. Ensuring that they are happy with the quality of service received and food, then relaying any relevant feedback to the Senior Chefs and Restaurant Management Team.
- To support the Restaurant Management Team at the end of service, ensuring that every station is checked and to the required standard.
- Being the first port of call for Restaurant team members with any concerns or questions.
- Raise any concerns regarding the team’s welfare, Health & Safety, or maintenance issues to the Restaurant Management Team.
- Providing day to day support to the team, deputising during the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor.
Key Skills;
- Exceptional standards in relation to Guest Service, attention to detail, Health & Safety and team welfare.
- Strong communication skills.
- Problem solving with the ability to react quickly and efficiently in dealing with the daily needs and challenges of the Restaurant operation.
- An excellent team player, willing to support the team wherever needed.
- A track record of being pro-active and organised towards any tasks required.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Previous experience in a Team Leader role would be advantageous but not essential
Hours:
- 44 hours per week
- Working 5 days out of 7
- Spilt Shifts, covering Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Service
