This is an entry level position for team members hungry for progression. We are looking for individuals who have already had front of house experience in the hospitality industry and have a real passion for developing a future career in this exciting, guest facing, service led industry sector. Alongside delivering high standards of customer service, with a ‘can do’ flexible approach, you must have a strong work ethic and the drive to succeed.
About the role:
This role entails working within our key operational departments giving you a ‘hands-on’ insight into all aspects of the day to day operation within these busy teams.
Initially supporting at team member level to gain in-depth operational knowledge, this role will then lead onto exposure to the supervisory and management aspects of operating and managing each department.
You will be supported by an experienced colleague, who as your Mentor will support your department experience and initial learning and development plan. After an initial 6 month integration to the Operational team and experience in the Operational Departments, further structured development over an 18 month period, including a hospitality qualification, will help you reach your full potential as a Trainee Manager, with the aim of fast tracking you into a Supervisory position that is available at the time of completion of the programme. (Whatever happens, this is a permanent job and a role will be available at the end!)
Departments will include:
Restaurant, Kitchen, Reception, Bars, Housekeeping and Retail.
In addition to the above, towards the end of the program you will also experience The Duty Manager Role – whereby you will experience being responsible for managing the whole Resort!
Hours:
This is a full-time contract, working on average 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
